Cosmopolitan International Projects

As a member of Cosmopolitan International, the River City Cosmopolitan Club supports the goals, projects and objectives of our International organization. We believe that by working and serving together, we can enrich the lives of others through Unity, Service & Action.
Cosmopolitan International’s current project is raising
$750,000 for INGAP (Islet Neogenesis Associated
Protein) research, as a possible cure for diabetes. This research is being conducted at the Strelitz Diabetes Institute, which is located at the

The River City Cosmopolitan Club has three club memberships in the Cosmopolitan Diabetes Foundation’s Beacons Fund. The Beacons Fund is an endowment designed to assure the perpetual duration of Cosmopolitan. Money placed in the fund is safely invested and the principle is never utilized. The interest obtained from the investment is used to fund grants and expenses set forth and approved by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Each Beacons membership consists of a $1000 donation to the Foundation.
